Rose flower oil is an infused oil made from fresh rose petals. I collect petals from heirloom perfume roses of rose (grown myself!) and put them through a special process to make a potent oil. I use a large amount of petals for each ounce of oil, but harvest sustainably (the bees & other humans can still enjoy!) This serum is EO free, and I'm happy to make it without because rose EO is a bit rough on the environment. It takes 10,000 pounds of roses just to make 1 ounce of oil :( So making this oil in a more natural way feels best to me.
This oil is infused in avocado oil.... but please know this IS NOT A PERFUME OIL. The goal of this oil is to extract the plant chemical compounds for herbal use. So, it's an infused herbal oil. It does have a MILD rose scent... But the scent fades quickly after application, as there are no added chemicals to make it do so. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS OIL FOR A ROSE SCENT. Its purpose is to capture the plant properties, not to wear as a perfume. I do try to get as much of the scent as I can into this oil, and I do a pretty good job of it... but it is nothing like an essential oil or perfume. The finished oil does have a slight sourness in the scent, as rose is naturally a sour plant. There is only a small amount of this available, due to the short time frame of rose season & the tediousness of the extraction method. Made on 6/25/26. Comes in 1 oz size. Roses are cooling, astringent, and emotionally, they 'soften'. People love to use rose oil on the face due to their toning properties, but I like to use this oil on my heart/chest area. Let's face it, society is rough sometimes:) This is a special oil to me, because I need help with remaining 'soft' and 'open'. I tend to close my heart easily, and I do not feel that is a healthy way to exist. So, when I'm feeling too 'tough', this goes on. They say that rose has a higher vibrational frequency than many plants, and I can see that (or rather, I can FEEL that:)).
