pine pollen tincture - antioxidant everyday formula

Pine pollen tincture is formulated for both men & women to take daily. This tincture is formulated for hormone support & for radiation support / antioxidant content. This tincture is made fresh each year; from pollen I collect on my property. I have mostly Eastern White Pine & one Red Pine - so there is a small amount of Red Pine Pollen in this batch. I also include young pine needles as part of the water content in the menstruum, which gives a slight pine flavor to the tincture (as well as a greenish color, but the taste is mostly of pollen). Spent pollen is removed from the final extract, but there will be a small amount that I could not sift out in every bottle. This tincture was shaken daily & macerated for 6 weeks before straining. 

If you would like the option of adding 1/4 nettle root tincture to make a symbiotic blend, please select this option. Stinging Nettle & Pine Pollen are known for working well together for hormone support. There is no extra charge for this - it's the same price as regular. If you don't want nettle root added, do not select anything & it defaults to full pine pollen. Studies show that nettle root can help boost properties of plants when combined. While pine pollen was not studied specifically, it's believed to work synergistically with nettle root due to stinging nettle's ability to bind to sex hormone binding globulin, which can affect the bioavailability of other sex hormones. The nettle root is organic & sourced from Mountain Rose Herbs, tinctured in 1:5 dried, in 80% ABV. Once again, the higher ABV captures the compounds that are beneficial to hormones. 

Ingredients: locally sourced, dried pine pollen, fresh pine needles (young ones for better flavor!), menstruum is Everclear + spring water in 1:2, approx 65-68% ABV. (Optional stinging nettle root tincture 1:5 dried, 80% ABV)

It's definitely a 'superfood' in the plant world, and a favorite supplement for overall health maintenance. This tincture is formulated for both men & women to take as a health supplement. The higher ABV captures the hormonal benefits & radiation support / antioxidants.

There are many claims about processing pine pollen: you have to freeze it first to break down cell structures, it has to be a particular species of pine to get the benefits, it can only be sourced from remote areas or else it's toxic:) My research and experience show that if you are tincturing pine pollen in a high ABV, it does not need to be frozen. The alcohol is sufficient at breaking it down (you can visibly see how different the pollen is after tincturing). Freezing is only suggested if you are going to eat it raw. The whole 'particular species' and 'remote areas' thing just seem like elitism:) Why are plants readily available all over the planet if only 1 area or species is beneficial? Nature doesn't work that way... it's a living energetic system that does not discriminate the way humans do:) - (IMO of course:)).

If you want a more intense pine pollen with hormonal support, I make a men's formula that is the highest pollen ratio in higher ABV. It automatically has the full spectrum nettle root included. I don't really suggest this for women, it's just not necessary IMO. You can find this tincture here:
